This has been a very busy time for M.B.S. - We had a table at the townships' "Pre Night Out" and from what we could see we were the most popular kids on the block. We gained a lot of friends that night and mostly because of Diana Weiner's display of Bees, Bugs, Beatles, Butterflies and Birds - Sounds like Diana got stuck at the beginning of the Alphabet.
They say, "Out of Sadness comes Joy", is very true for M.B.S. - We recently received 3 memorial donations which allowed us to purchase a "Luyten Style" bench, a Nelly Stevens Holly tree and the newly named, "Circle of Love" garden with its 4 benches and table.
We send our loving thoughts to these families and are honored that they have chosen to become part of the Meadowbrook Bird Sanctuary family. Their donations to this small neighborhood park have provided a wonderful little oasis for all to enjoy.
Included here is a list of birds that have been spotted at M.B.S. - some were just passing by on their way to residences in our many lovely houses. They all let us know how much they enjoyed the bird seed by quickly emptying all the feeders.
